ADK FIGHTWEAR is a family run business. We are from the Adirondack Mountains (ADK) in New York. We learned at a young age that beauty can come with simplicity. This is the core principle of ADK FIGHTWEAR. We want to provide quality and clean looking apparel at a reasonable price.

Whatever your reason for training is, we believe you should look good and feel good. Joe (one of our owners) will probably never be a world champion. His goal is to train frequently, train hard, and help everyone at the gym get better. His summit may be different than yours, but "MEET US AT THE TOP" of whatever peak you decide to climb.

The ADK FIGHTWEAR logo was designed to incorporate the Adirondack Mountains, and more specifically the "High Peaks", where we grew up. Our debut competition gi is named "BIG SLIDE" after one of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks located in Keene Valley, NY, just a few miles from our hometown of Elizabethtown.

While the triangle is known to be the international symbol for Gracie Jiu Jitsu, to us it hits closer to home, as we use it to symbolize the Adirondack Mountains.

The triangle symbol is an excellent representation of Gracie Jiu Jitsu because it possesses a firm and stable base regardless of what side it lies on, while the three corners represent the mind, body, and spirit. All of these qualities are those the practitioner should strive for and demonstrate.
